The Persian

My first Persian scroll was Azzah's Gordian Knot. It took what felt like forever. I told myself I wouldn't do that type of scroll again, not in the near term anyway. Almost a year later, I had another Persian-persona friend get an assignment. Altani had spent much time researching day shades, and had talked in depth about examining their construction from manuscripts. When I found this exemplar (Shah Nameh of Shah Tasmasp), there was no turning back. Even if it meant I had to get a magnifying glass to do 3/4 of it.
